"You reap what You sow"

NB: This is lengthy and therefore time consuming.

Maharaja VijayaVirat ruled over 8 provinces. But a problem was eating his heart out.He was desperate to find a solution.

There was boy named Kashi in one of the provinces. One day from his parents, he overheard what he was not supposed to-the same problem which was worrying the king the most.

Brave enough, Kashi entered the court of king VijayaVirat. He offered to be the prey to the demon-the cause for the worry of king.

Since time immemorial, a demon named Drushtasura lived in the cave of one of the provinces. At every new moon day a person and a bullock cart full of rice was offered as a prey to sura. Each time a person from different province was offered on a rotational basis.

Kashi said "oh mighty king, kindly make arrangements to send me one day before"
"I dont understand, I am confused. What do you intent to do?" said the king

"Maharaja, my purpose is to kill the demon. Trust me", kashi said.

King Vijayavirat agreed.
Kashi's parents wept untill he left.

The cave was dimly lit by the reflection of moon and was stinking with a weird smell. It took Kashi long to reach the end of the cave, where Drushtasura was sleeping. Kashi had to struggle to wake him. He pelted stones, screamed, climbed on him, then Drushtasura woke.

Furious Drushtasura roared "Hey kid, who are you and what are you doing here? How dare you entered my cave and disturb my sleep."

Kashi said "I have come to offer myself to you. I am from king Vijayavirat's province."

Drushtasura roared even loud "HA HA HA HA.You seem to be a interesting flesh. Its been a long time, since I have enjoyed young blood. And don't worry I will kill you within no time. You won't suffer much pain before death."

Kashi answered "You seem to be very proud of your power. And Killing and eating people is not a wise act-"

Drushtasura interrupted "HA HA HA HA. I don't need your advice. Now tell me why have you come early. I am not yet hungry. You will have to wait till its new moon and I shall sleep till then. Don't disturb me. I don't like it."

Kashi challenged Drushtasura " The world outside your cave has changed and we are not afraid of you any more. I challenge you to fight with me. If you win, you can kill me else you will have to stop killing innocent people."

Drushtasura hadn't heard anything of this sort. And he got agitated that he was being challenged. "HMHMHM How dare you challenge me? I think its time I remind king Vijayavirat and his people their worth.OK then. You tell me what are the conditions. I can't stop thinking of killing you in front of your own people. They are going to remember this for long."

Confident of victory, Kashi laid the conditions "We shall wrestle tomorrow afternoon out side your cave. we shall fight until one of us die."

Drushtasura didn't find any problem with the conditions and agreed. He said "Its been decades since I have fought under sun.I will relish killing and then eating you more than anything else in my life."

Kashi left the cave to make arrangements for the wrestle.

The time had come. Kashi and few of his companions had already arrived and were eagerly waiting for Drushtasura .

No sooner did he came out of the cave,Drushtasura couldn't sustain scorching sun and became restless with the suffering caused. He could hardly stand as he had been sleeping for years and getting up to eat only when offering from the provinces arrived.

Even before Drushtasura realized what was happening around, thousands of soldiers of King Vijayavirat came out of their hiding and shot Drushtasura with poisonous arrows. Drushtasura couldn't put up a fight and died a merciless death. King Vijayavirat was happy than even before.

The great human beggar...

"Life", they say "is no cake walk".Does it have to be?Don't we all genuflect?-"Forgive me. PLease forgive me god, for I committed sins."

Then there is god. He became hero by fighting out demons, preaching good deeds, healing ailments. Sometimes by sacrificing his wife, mentor, brother, children, he became hero as he stood by his principles.

And there are gods, millions of them. Thus millions of religions.
Its like when you accept you belong to religion X, it implies you dont follow religion Y.
When you say you are a female, you dont like xyz, abc about male.
When you pick one end of stick, you pick the other.

The result: hatered amongst us. If god knew, there would be catstrope in the name of religion, why did he take multiple forms???

only if we had ONE god, life would have been different....

But he Sinned by taking different forms, and it only worsened when we prayed his mother, wife, children, devotees, sub-devotees.....

He divied us.........Are his sins forgivable???

My Contention is not the existance of God, it is his relevance. Did he think he underestimated us, but we are still animals....Do we need him to explain our existance?-mostly later half of life?

Dreaming has never been easy, or is it? I don't think. It takes a lot of effort out of u. While u are dreaming, if it leaves +ve energy 2 the surroundings then ur dream is worth. That is why great dreamers have always thought BIG.

The Devil n The Saint

"....let devil come or deep sea", he remembered his brother telling him last evening as he sat in the examination hall.
The feeling was not new. He was facing the devil for Second time and it didn't take him long to figure out what the results might be. In fact, 't was only 30 minutes his CAT paper had begun.
"Now I think its time you apply for other secondary colleges", cautioned his friend as they rode back from the examination hall. "Yes, I will", asserted the Saint unwillingly."Do I have any option?" he wondered.

[Undated, 5.30 AM]:
Was this just a dream or soon to-be-a reality, pondered the Saint as he woke up. He knew that he was not catching up...he was weak in Quantitative Analysis, his Data Interpretation was poor. Although he was fair in Logical Reasoning and Verbal, it was not enough.

Yeh Na Socho Isme Apni Haar Hai Ke Jeet Hai
Ise Apna Lo Jo Bhi Jeevan Ki Reet Hai
Yeh Zid Chodo, Bandhan Yuh Na Todo
Har Pal Ek Darpan Hai
Yeh Jeevan Hai...
As these lines of a song flashed in his mind, he was making-up his mind to achieve his dream. "I will become an Entrepreneur, let devil come or deep sea".
